Bank Holiday Monday
We were almost not working today. Interestingly those of us who work to older contracts, i.e. paid more for bank holidays, were rostered off for this day, to be replaced by new starts, who do not!
Most of us do not work Tuesdays anyway, but we all had something planned… I’m through in Glasgow tomorrow morning… Adam is off home to visit the family… etc. – so it was mostly reversed.
I was stuffed with the cold for most of the day, despite taking as much painkillers etc. as I could! But I was there…
