Pierre goes o-irish
According to reports on The Register, former BT Retail chief executive Pierre Danon has been recruited by the investors behind a buy-out of Irish phone provider Eircom. He will become chairman of the Eircom once the deal is completed. Last Autumn, he took up a job at JP Morgan, after parting company with CapGemini after he blurted about having a job interview with Accor, to one of the biggest papers in France,… oops, small mistake. Now you know why I'm being quiet about mine!
During his time in BT, Pierre did visit us at Riverside House, and very nearly walked into me as I was walking along the corridor with a large box in my arms… One little bit of consultancy for free - you make a better door than a windae (window) !
