X-City Direct – One Year (and one day) On

For those who don't know what I'm on about, have a look at the pdf of the introductory leaflet.

For those who’ve forgotten, X-City Direct (Dundee city bus services 13 & 14) started on Monday 10th October 2005. It’s difficult to imagine life without them now, as they’ve become a part of the network so well. For more information on these, see my Techpark pages, and for pictures, there are tonnes on my Fotopic… first day Part One, Part Two including the launch at Ninewells, which still brings me into giggles thinking about it, and Part Three… see my blog from that day for all the memories.

Of course, getting access to the "new link road" is still to be a problem. Travel Dundee's 14 is to get round it by using Ninewells Avenue and Tom McDonald Avenue from 5th November (see Techpark for details), but getting the 13's past is going to be impossibile, until this work is cleared... they have since put up a "proper" sign to replace this one...
