Woke up this morning, to the sounds of wind and rain lashing against the side of the buildings… [edit]
A complete “opposite” in the way transpeople are portrayed was Different For Girls , a movie made in the early 1990’s in London, based around a despatch rider and a verse writer, the latter being a post-op m2f ts. This time I could relate to the character, but also to the location and settings. From the ex-Londoner point of view, certain areas of east and south east London looked a lot different to they way they do now.
Afterwards, we started watching The Librarian: Quest For The Spear, which was about the story of a 22-time college student, chosen at random to receive an interview for a librarian’s job, which then lead to an around-the-world adventure.
