Keele Services

Well, it's around 0240, and we've been good passengers (given the bus is half empty, this is a good sign) so our driver gives us a 30min break (tacho break, and for driver changeover) at Keele. I was able to get this very dark picture of both Megabus Neoplans in the coach park. Also to be seen was Rapsons 669 (if I noted right) on the NatEx Inverness - London service, as well as one of Slaemuir Coaches Caetano coaches on the National Express 592 duplicate from Dundee. The standard booked Warwickshire drivers took over 50128 from Keele via Corley Services, but our driver (50143) - for one night? only - was the inimitable "Magic Joe". Despite no longer working this route regularly, his voice was once again familiar to several of the regulars, and his comments on the "men not being too good tonight" was recognised as universal. Anyway, he didn't come upstairs... We left 20 minutes late (0335), but the duplicate 50128 was still there, despite it was meant to be away at 0310, before us...
