We Don't Support This....

eBuyer.com's newsletter is pimping the idea of an Internet enabled Microwave oven, for £104.99 inc. vat.
LG Lifestyle MG-5682NL Microwave OvenDesription
The MG-5682NL `Internet Enabled Microwave is a 1,250W Grill with a LCD display. As well as all the functions and programmes you would normally expect to find on a high tech microwave, the MG-5682NL also has a 20 menu memory function so you can download recipes from the Internet and store them on the LCD display. Whilst downloading recipes from the `www.dreamlg.co.uk website, you will also be offered cooking tips and a `help option. Once again the `Internet Enabled Microwave can be accessed as a stand alone product via your laptop - or remotely as part of the Networked Appliances..."
Now, if I've understood correctly, anything that can go in the microwave normally has the cooking instructions on the back of the cardboard anyway... and who will be the first person to call their isp to complain if they burn their food, and complain that we're a business so it's all your fault... reminds me of the time someone at school stuck a change-colour car in the microwave, and it exploded, conviently enough when his mother was out...
