Last Thursday, I mentioned about the building work at the side of Ninewells Hospital. Despite this, the "bottom" bit of the new bus link road through the Medipark has been suitable for use for a few weeks. Strathtay's 76 (most journeys) have been registered to run via Medipark once the road was usable, so Dundee City Council and Strathtay settled on the date of today - 14th August. The main thing for me is that the bus no longer has to cross the dual carriageway as often as it did before - as it had to come out of Perth Road onto Riverside Avenue (dual-carrigeway) , into Apollo Way, turn, back to Riverside Avenue, then turn into Invergowrie Main Street, and reverse in return.
